Hey, it’s Ashley.
Ashley is the Digital Director for GIFFORDS and former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, where she leads digital strategy, creative production, and influencers partnership at the intersection of policy, advocacy, and culture.
Before that, Ashley worked across advocacy, electoral, and public service spaces, including roles at UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, and The Trevor Project. She also served as Creative Director for then-candidate Angela Alsobrooks on her successful U.S. Senate campaign in 2024, and on the digital team for U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren. Her work centers on building compelling digital narratives that mobilize communities and drive impact.
Ashley also teaches as an adjunct professor at George Washington University’s School of Media and Public Affairs—easily the best part of her day. Sharing real-world experience with graduating seniors is her way of telling the next generation: don’t be afraid of what’s next, you’ve got this.
Born into a family of refugees and raised in Vietnam, Ashley spent 13 years witnessing socioeconomic inequality, exploitation, and persecution firsthand. Those early experiences shaped her commitment to digital advocacy and creative storytelling as tools for change.
Looking for a collaborator on your next digital project? Ashley is always open to conversations—and her dogs, Swoosh and Frankie, occasionally make guest appearances on set.
